Watch this video as a rescue team of firefighters from the city of
Swift Current, Saskatchewan save a mans life from a truly speedy creek.
His van got stuck while trying to cross the flooded out road and
seconds after climbing into a rescue boat the van was washed
downstream. According to the news report, the van was never found!

The water has now caught the lip where the dam meets the water on
Wascana Lake. It is now rising much faster and creeping up the streets
in front of Saskatchewan's Legislature in Regina. In the past two days
water has begun to cover much more vast areas of the parks in the
middle of the capital city of the province.

Mother nature is knocking on the politicians door!
