Once you have made your own blog and have figured out how it all works and you are ready to "go public" with it, just have a list of your blogs ready and submit them to some "blog submission sites". Here are a couple of links that list the blog submission sites:

So far after submitting 7 blogs to 4 or more submission sites each, there has been no immediate stats jump, but the reaction will be monitored and more submissions will be made as necessary.
This is a general commentary on how blogs operate and what advertising works and what doesn't.

More on the "Million Dollar Homepage"
Good thing about this site is that it has certainly raised the value of Internet sites around the world. This guy raised over a million dollars in five months! Some of the ads are quite unique but some others are very sad and useless. It could take five months just to see every ad, so if the goal was to glue us to the screen for a bit longer, it has worked. Still, no indication of how long these ads are going to stay up. Maybe it says so somewhere in that mess...
Million Dollar Homepage
Here is something big for the Internet advertiser industry:
MillionDollarHomepage.com
This might be a good site if it doesn't fade into the "seen that already" category. It is just a blip on the Internet and a sad example of how desperate people are getting to force advertisers to switch off the TV and turn on the Internet. Hopefully, the "Sports Entertainment Industry" (NBA, MLB, NHL) will soon learn the harsh lessons that the Music Industry had to endure with the rise of the Internet. This is just a matter of time. People who get too greedy always pay a high price in the end for their successes. Some people have better ideas than others though, case in point:

Advertising Campaigns
The most recent discovery of the way some ads behave in relation to others has baffled me. Google Adsense seems to be fairly consistant with the exception of "earnings per impression" rising significantly on the blogspot.com domain. That is a good thing because that is the name of this game, blog. So, the more blogs you write, with Google Ads on them, the more money you can make. At this rate, if I don't get anymore hits than I am getting right now, then I have to make 500 blogs to make ends meet.... ok, on to the next blog...
