Amazing! After saskatoonscanner broke this story on Sunday, it has gone worldwide and YouTube.com is back up and running after a five hour crash. According to Google News, the first source of this story came from the University of Kansas, I am writing an email now to the writer to find out her source, just for fun...

Just a note: the real story behind the story is the fact that YouTube.com is now more visited than CNN.com...
I'm still addicted to YouTube.com, there are so many marginally decent videos that I am convinced that I can make a better video. It is the greatest Internet Entertainment yet, the public has finally replaced the CRTC! Now the world can live in peace. Praise the Internet once again!

YouTube.com Nears The Top Of The Internet!
I just checked Alexa's rankings for YouTube.com today and was amazed to see how high they have climbed. I had to switch from Google Video today due to some "processing" difficulties. I went to YouTube.com and noticed that their upload limits are way higher, then I started watching some of the videos and I got hooked! They have a very good system on YouTube. I may not go back to Google Video now. Here is the channel that I made on YouTube:
YouTube.com
Alexa has YouTube ranked at number 9 today and it has been rising for months. No leveling off in sight. In fact YouTube may finally put television out of business! I bet they pass Google.com and then set new standards for Internet viewership, not to mention fix the ridiculous advertising/marketing gap between TV & IT. I made $3 today from about 1000 page impressions, I'm actually happy with that number but it is still disproportionate. Imagine if those fringe TV channels only made a dollar a day, how many viewers do they get and how do they stay in operation?

Silly Stats
According to Alexa.com, weather.com has a "daily reach" of about 10 billion! That is amazing! I think we should take a re-count of the human population on Earth, unless that includes aliens, I'm not sure.

In other news, saskatoonscanner.com has pixeled a deal with theweathernetwork.com to broadcast our skycam. Their traffic is not too shabby either:
600 million in a country of only 35 million, again, amazing!

On the local media scorecard, it is still a great race with SDA jumping back in the lead while the SS drops further down while enjoying it's the busiest google adsense month in history. ahh discrepencies, they are like the spices on a steak, or the caramel in your coffee, it is love at first...
