Site Statistics Surge

A special thanks goes out to smalldeadanimals.com for posting our big lightning photo from this past Wednesday. Our visitor numbers have increased once again with lots of new people coming from there. With another severe thunderstorm watch issued for Saskatoon, today could be the most visited day ever as Saturday's are almost always the highest traffic day of the week. For some strange reason our ad revenue has not increase at all. Our ads paid much better during the federal election so it looks like things still need much improvement. Good thing is, the content of this site continues to grow. Official visitor numbers may be posted later as several statistics counters are giving very different results.

Website Stats - New Direction For The News Media

The most popular propaganda networks seem to be losing some numbers all at the same time. CNN, BBC, and CBC are all on the downswing while saskatoonscanner.com continues to grow. (even google's numbers have peaked according to alexa.com.Our numbers are still very low compared to the big boys but we are making some very major plans for the next few months. July has been historically the biggest month by far for saskatoonscanner.com due to storm chasing season. By the way, Friday is being watched closely for an outbreak of severe weather across the Canadian prairies. By November we hope to have another server and an extra cpu. The battery back-up will be purchased soon as we already got a $20 donation yesterday. Before the power goes out again, this needs to be resolved. You may help speed up the process by sending your donation here:

Reality Blog

The sky is blue. The clouds are interesting but not menacing. The Oilers game 7 is tonight. People are at school and work. The sun will set and rise again. Music is soothing. Beer can be great, until it rots your brain. Stupid people will lose, smart people will win.
